Store LogoOur Gettysburg, Pennsylvania store is located at the corner of Baltimore Street and Steinwehr Avenue. It occupies an 1880 structure on ground that during the July, 1863 Battle of Gettysburg was directly between the Union and Confederate battle lines. With its wide selection of items, knowledgeable staff, constant playing of documentaries, and its long hours, this site is quickly becoming one of the most popular places to visit while in Gettysburg. The first floor contains books and videos and miniatures relating to the American Civil War. It also contains Miniatures, and Children's items from all time periods. The front porch is enclosed in glass, and glass shelving holding our miniatures. This area is literally our showcase.

The second floor has rooms containing items on Ancient History, 1492-1799, 19th Century (with the exception of the Civil War), and the 20th Century. Each room contains a video monitor airing a Greystone Production. For instance, in our 1492-1799 room you will see books, and videos related to this time period plus a monitor playing The American Revolution series that Greystone produced for the Arts and Entertainment Network and the History Channel.

The Gettysburg store staff is led by Manager Truman Eyler. Truman came to us from Eastern National Park and Monument Association, a Cooperating Association/Bookstore for the National Park Service. Truman is also a Licensed Battlefield Guide for the Gettysburg National Military Park. Parking problems have been alleviated with the recent purchase of the garages behind our store. Now 21 free parking spaces have been created in front of the garages for your visit to our store.
